The report goes on to say that Apple wants to make the foldable phone as thin as existing iPhone models, but is having trouble because components such as battery and display are making the device thicker. The report also says that Apple has talked to “at least one” part maker in Asia in an effort to get components for different sizes of foldable iPhones. This suggests that Apple is experimenting with multiple foldable devices.
