After the pandemic pause, Islandwide Crafts and Food Expo is back for the holidays.

After an absent for three years, the Blaisdell Exhibition hall is set to host a craft fair for families that will provide shoppers with opportunity of backing up small enterprises that have not completely recovered from the effects of the pandemic.

 

During Sunrise weekends, Emsie Infante – an assistant director for the 34th Islandwide Crafts and Food Expo and Ty Tamaru, a manager at Fresh Catch Pearl City, appeared on Hawaii News now.

Infante added that they believe people will reaccept it because it has provided tremendous support for local establishments; in fact, it dates back to more than three decades ago.

Fresh catch had tamure who displayed some roasted meats and onions, and also showed of fresh-made sauces as per this seared ahi salad Tamure.

The expo had closed during the covid season as well, and then it was again shut off when the founder as well as an infant’s mom, Carolina Infante, had gone off.

It involves almost a hundred vendors selling hand made crafts and local food, a raffle draws, amusement, Kanaka Santa Claus and Chinese lion dancing.

Food & Magazine named their family-owned-and-operated event the Best Holiday Market.

The Expo kicks off on Black Friday and runs all weekend at the Blaisdell Exhibition Hall, 777 Ward Ave. Hours are:

Friday, Nov. 24, 4-8 p.m.

Saturday, Nov.25, 10 a.m.-7 p.m.

From noon at November 26 till 5 PM.

The general is eight dollars and six dollars for a military or a senior. Keiki age 12 and under are free.
